WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — For the fourth consecutive year, Purdue University ranks among the top 10 Most Innovative Schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report.

The report, released Monday, ranked Purdue's West Lafayette campus eighth among the most innovative — the highest for all Big Ten schools and across Indiana.

“It has been nothing like business as usual over the last year-plus, but we are very proud that our university has continued to launch innovative initiatives that will enhance the educational experience of our students and value of a Purdue education,” said Jay Akridge, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs and diversity, in a release.

“Our response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and this kind of commitment by our faculty and staff to continuous improvement, I believe, helped lead to record enrollment this fall.”
