WestGate@Crane, Ind. - May 25, 2016 - Early registration ends Friday for the annual Running for Our Future 5K 2016 race. We are excited to host this year's race on June 11. This is a great race with a great cause!

Every step matters in the 2016 Running for Our Future 5K. This annual event is being held in honor of Chuck LaSota, a pillar of the WestGate@Crane community, who believed in the value and potential of every person he met.

All proceeds from the 5K will support a STEM-focused scholarship at the Fourth Annual WestGate@Crane College Fair in October. Come out and join Chuck’s family and friends as we honor his legacy and finish strong on June 11, 2016.

The 3.1-mile course starts at WestGate Academy Conferencing & Training Center, passes through WestGate@Crane Technology Park, then heads toward the Battery Innovation Center before heading back towards the finish line at WestGate Academy.

Race day check-in begins at 8:00am at the West entrance of the WestGate Academy parking lot. Race time is 9:00am. Access to parking may be limited during race time as parking is located along the race route.

Kids 12 and Under

- $10 for pre-registered runners (Now-May 27)

- $15 for registered runners (May 27 - June 10)

- $20 for race-day registration (June 11)

- $25 for pre-registered runners (Now - May 27)

- $30 for registered runners (May 27 - June 10)

- $35 for race-day registration (June 10)

Race Day Schedule of events, June 11, 2015: 8:00a.m. - 8:45a.m. Late Registration and packet pick-up 9:00a.m. Start of 5K Run / Walk 10:15a.m.

Awards will follow the conclusion of the 5K Run. Plaques will be awarded to the top finisher in the following age groups: - 17 and under - 18-34 - 35-54 - 55 and over
