That’s 1 out of every 12 workers employed in the advanced manufacturing sector,via PRNewswire. Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership will hold entry-level manufacturing classes this month at WestGate Academy for those seeking to jump-start their career. WestGate Academy serves to develop the region’s workforce pipeline, from Evansville to Indianapolis. This program provides adult learners with three nationally recognized credentials in just ten days. The program will begin Jan. 23 and continue through Feb. 3 at Westgate Academy. This class is a condensed training program for adult learners in career transition. This delivers fundamental and entry-level manufacturing knowledge, skills, and abilities to candidates with no prior manufacturing exposure.
