The 2016 Bloomington Bridal Show is one of the largest bridal shows in the region. Now that the newest section of Interstate 69 has opened, Bloomington brides can access WestGate Academy within twenty minutes. WestGate Academy is the perfect place to hold your wedding, reception, or rehearsal dinner, and had the opportunity to showcase the beauty of the space at the bridal show. 'This was the first time we have registered WestGate Academy as a venue at a bridal expo. The show is very prestigious and featured several wedding photographers, caterers, venues, etc.' Jackson says brides were impressed by the Academy. 'Several brides stated that the Academy stood out because of its newness and pricing structure. We have created tiered wedding packages that are tailored specifically for our clientele. We feel that we can offer a competitive venue creating the perfect ambiance for your special evening at a budget-friendly price.' She says the Academy's wedding packages offer a variety of amenities including a house audio/visual system, mobile staging and dance floor, and individually controlled lighting panels. The Academy's booth display, created by the successful decorator Jolene McAtee, caught the attention of brides at the show. 'We paired up with Martin County’s decorating extraordinaire, Jolene’s Decorating. She does an exceptional job and our booth at the bridal expo looked amazing. She really created the perfect atmosphere when potential brides and grooms entered our booth. We were able to highlight the Academy’s capabilities without guests physically being in the facility. We couldn’t ask for a better partnership with Jolene McAtee.' WestGate Academy staff attended the Daviess County Bridal Fair Sunday, February 21, in Washington, Indiana. Academy staff met several potential brides. 'When we first learned that our very own county WestGate Academy resides in was hosting a bridal fair, we knew we had to have a booth display,' Event Manager Alexandria Jackson explained. 'We knew we needed to connect with our local audience and make them aware of a beautiful venue they could utilize for their special day.' Because this bridal show occurred in a smaller setting, it allowed for more intimate conversations. 'We were able to talk to brides for a longer period of time and explain in detail the amenities WestGate Academy has to offer,' said Jackson. 'We really appreciated the time we got to spend with the brides and the family they brought with them.'
