WestGate Sponsorship from Defense Contractor ManTech

NEWS RELEASE February 11, 2021 Purdue@WestGate at the WestGate@Crane Technology Park has graciously received a 2021 sponsorship from Tech Park neighbor, ManTech, in support of the WestGate Authority’s economic development mission. The WestGate Academy’s 14,000 square foot conference center has been one of the main sources of income to the non-profit during the COVID-19 pandemic. ManTech will now be the focal point as visitors enter the spacious event center. “ManTech is extremely proud to be a part of the Crane ecosystem and we understand that the WestGate Academy plays a very important role in the community. This sponsorship represents ManTech’s continued investment in and commitment to that community – and to bringing new technology and advancing strategic objectives within the Tech Park and NSWC Crane.” Jim Hanley, Vice President and Division Manager for ManTech’s Naval Aviation Division. ManTech was founded in 1968 to provide advanced technological services to the U.S. Government. Since 2012, WestGate Academy has been the heart of the Technology Park and its 875 employees, $67 million dollars in payroll, and had supported 89 startups since 2017.
